Hi, I’m Stephanie. I help people navigate through the noise of how to eat healthfully and mindfully with meal plans, simple recipes, cooking classes, and mini-retreats.

Backyard Cooking Classes and Mini Retreats.

Local to Hamilton/Ancaster Area.

I will be offering cooking classes in my backyard and will be partnering with local wellness instructors to bring you beautiful day retreat gatherings.

What we will be doing (agenda may vary per event):

  • Cooking and eating delicious and nourishing food al fresco on my backyard property.
  • A relaxing yoga session, with plans in the future for meditation, other movement modalities, sound therapy, etc.
  • Hikes up the Bruce Trail to visit the local attraction, Tiffany Falls.

Partnerships

I partner with ONE Health Services so if you need to see a naturopathic doctor we’ve got you covered! Chat with an ND first and then I will customize a meal plan for your specific dietary requirements. Virtual appointments are available!

Let’s chat! There’s no doubt I love talking about food. I’d love to hear what you’re thinking and if you have questions about food, I’m your gal! 

Simple Meal Plans, Recipe Booklets, and Meal Plan Programs (not customized): $15-$49

If you’re not fussy and don’t have any special dietary needs (although most of my plans are dairy and gluten-free), I recommend one of my pre-made meal plans, recipe books, or meal plan programs. Just buy and it magically appears in your inbox!

Custom 7-Day Meal Plan: $99

Do you need something custom? Do you have allergies and need something specific? I can help! I’ll create a meal plan that fits your needs and lifestyle. (Includes a grocery list, recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a handy calendar.

  • Custom plans that require extra nutritional research are $100 extra
  • Prep plans are $30 extra

4-Week Custom Meal Planning Program + Coaching: $598

Do you want someone to do all the thinking for you when it comes to meals for 4 weeks?

For 4 weeks straight, you’ll get a nifty email from me with a meal plan or recipe book that is specific to your wants and desires. Treats and desserts included (no one should be without treats and desserts!)

Includes:

  • 4 weeks of custom meal plans including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks (this is totally customizable btw. Some people have breakfast figured out and only want recipes for lunch, dinner, and snacks!)
  • 4 detailed prep guides so you know when to make everything (this is a life-saver for so many people!)
  • A full grocery list and easy-to-follow recipes (hello grocery list? I’m in).
  • 4 weekly coaching calls to help you stay on track (want to chat about food? Have questions about what you’re doing? Need help cutting an onion [hint, you might need onion goggles for that… believe me it’s a thing!]).

From what I’ve heard so far, our property used t From what I’ve heard so far, our property used to be an apple orchard called Hope Farms in the 1800s. That’s all I really know (oh and that there’s a ghost we’ve yet to experience).

I was so excited to learn there were still 3 apple trees. But when we moved here no apples came.

The former owners must have trimmed them because truthfully they can be a bit of a pain when they fall and the animals and bugs get at them.

This year we started to see apples and then more apples and now all three trees are full of them. 

Many of them are wonky or blemished but they taste good! 

I picked this one today. It looks like I bought it from a store. 

‘Is that from *our* tree?’ The kids asked.

How cool and rewarding it is to pick food from your own yard. ❤️🍎🍏
Fun garden stuff! 🌱I picked some bush beans! M Fun garden stuff!

🌱I picked some bush beans! Most of them didn’t take. I think I have a furry little muncher eating the leaves…

🌱I harvested my garlic! I planted 16 cloves in November and now I have 16 bulbs! Pretty sweet return right there.

🌱My cauliflower is coming along! Almost there. 

🌱Not pictured are my mini watermelons! They’re so cute!

I’m learning lots and already thinking of what I’d do differently next summer.
Well, guess what? Our wellness retreat was cance Well, guess what? 

Our wellness retreat was canceled on June 24 because it was calling for thunderstorms all day - we had to make a call and guess what else? It barely rained! 

Such is life!

We managed to move most of the attendees to Sunday, July 16 and we'd love to open it up one more time to see if you would like to attend with them.

We'd love to see you!

I'm finalizing the yummy recipes we'll be cooking and eating. Fresh and local ingredients as much as possible.

Eat the rainbow(ish). 🌈 I find kids (and adult Eat the rainbow(ish). 🌈

I find kids (and adults) are more likely to eat veggies when we offer them like this. 

Sounds simple, but I find my kids eat more like this than when I put them in lunches or directly on their plates at dinner. 

Plus, it’s pretty on the table! 

I’m serving this with pulled chicken sandwiches for dinner tonight!
